Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Costs to Engage Total Tree Services?
Total Tree Services charge a fee for the work undertaken based on many factors. As each job has different requirements, you will be provided with a quote based on the work being undertaken. Some of the factors that will impact on pricing include:
- Location and travel requirements for the crew and machinery. To assist rural customers, Total Tree Services groups job schedules according to the location where possible to reduce your travel expenses.
- The number and height of trees being managed.
- Access restrictions to the site and tree.
- Structures located under the tree such as buildings. Additional planning and care are required to minimise potential danger to property.
- Whether the tree is being lopped, pruned or removed. Total Tree Services complies strictly with Australian Standards relating to arborial and tree removal services. As such, in some cases, the pricing for pruning may equal the cost of removal due to safety and operational considerations.
Contact Total Tree Services with all your requirements and a comprehensive quote covering fees will be provided.

Some local by laws may apply to your local council authority area. For example, in Toowoomba Queensland, the Toowoomba Regional Council no longer governs the protection of trees located on private property unless it is part of a development application.
Heritage Listed properties may also have vegetation that needs to be protected for historical purposes. If your property is Heritage listed, you need to contact Dept of Environmental and Heritage Protection for advice.
